Hi Folks,

I am compiling some information for sales training for local franchise employees. My primary sources of information when I am not at work are the various Festool websites.  I am looking at the cordless sander options, which look to use the same motor (ETSC 125, RTSC 400 and DTSC 400). The Festool webpage for the U.S. has much less technical information than the ones in Europe. The U.K. webpage states that these motors are brushless. Is this true? Thanks in advance for any information. I really want to present only accurate information.

The cordless sanders you mention are marked EC-TEC which is Festool speak for brushless.

If in doubt, I always go for the eKat spares catalogue breakdowns.

No brushes on the breakdowns for these sanders ..
