hi all

has anybody had any experience good or bad of the milwalkee inspection camera. i was thinking of getting one as it is very handy to know what is behind a stud wall before i put a big hole.

I've got that one Alan. It works well for the price. Sometimes you want to peek PRIOR to tearing stuff apart.

I bought one and ended up returning it.  :-[It's great for seeing inside walls before you cut but the resolution for anything further than a a foot was very poor.  It may have been just me but 1/2 the time I could not tell what I was looking at.  If I'm going to cut a hole to snake the camera in and have to patch it later, I decided it was easier to cut a larger hole to look in, which for me was easier to patch in the long run.  Just my opinion; seems other like it.  I'd try it and if does not work out you can always return it like I did.

cheers!

yes if you are cutting a hole in a stud it is easier to cut back to the studs but for lots of jobs this is not posable. the quality of the inage upto 3-4 feet away is important  so i will have to check that one out.
