Is gluing the dominoes enough?

I am about to glue up the top of a china cabinet.  It is 14" deep, and has two sides, a top, a bottom, a divider, and two shelves on each side; a total of 14 joints.  Each joint has 5 dominoes in it.  I have to glue it all at once, and I am concerned it will take too much time.

I could just gluet the dominoes.  That will save half the time, and I won't have to worry about wqueeze out.  Will it be adequate to just glue the dominos?  Any other suggestionses.

please excuse the typing; my computer is broken and I can't see what I am typing...  don't ask.

You have to glue the entire panel, not just the dominos, Unless you have a cross grain direction and then you still want to put a litlle glue on the ends

i also use pocket screws to tighten and act as clamps.  can you do the same?  if not then glue the entire edges

In many cases I find the dominos are primarily for alignment and I elect to not glue them to simplify glue up. If you have plenty of  contact surface you can do the same. If a domino is going into end grain use glue since the end grain piece won't glue up as well by itself.

I would think you could glue the dominos into one side for all of them and let them set. Then finish up the glue-up. Would save a little time. Sometimes I use blue painters tape to hold the glue off of surfaces I am worried about. Then just slather on the glue fast with less worry about squeeze out. Clamping is always a pain and takes me longer than the glue up.

I agree with PeterK, glue the dominoes in one side and then glue everything together later.  I'm doing this with a cabinet that I'm cutting the pieces to fit as I go.  My shop doesn't have much open space, so I glued the dominoes in one side then I can assemble, take measurements and then knock it back apart.  Works much better that trying to pull out the dominoes each time I take it apart.

You type better than me when I can see. my computer is broke too. It is a laptop, and the power cord is loose, so I have to jab it in the computer and hold it with force to maintain power. I think I am going to take it to get worked on though, this kinda sucks.

no use the plastic resin.  its got a redish color if thats a issue,  but the pot life and thin set up is 4-5 times that of the pvc glues[ yellow].  i used it in the 60s when the yellow glue didnt exist.  only neg is the over  nite setup time.
