Hi All,
Sorry if this has been covered, I did search but drew a blank.
I won't bore you all with the back story, you all know the score with the ps400 blade wander...
Anyway a friend of mine has a dismantled carvex 420 and we have a fully working 400, all be it with the wandering issue many have.
Is it possible to simply change the required bits from the 420 to the 400 effectively upgrading it to cut straight or not that simple? I've had a look on the net and found nothing. I know there are minor motor differences in the two but are the mechanicals with blade holder similar enough to change between the two?
If so has anyone done this and know whats required or is it going to be a suck it and see type case?
Both jigsaws are out of warranty FWIW
