Is the hood on the old CT 36 A/C interchangeable with the new style w/ side lock

I recently broke the hood on my CT 36 E A/C (03/2012) and noticed that the new version has side locking latches. 
The parts list calls out:
OLD CT 36 E A/C 120V 498714 (part no. 204040)
NEW CT 36 E A/C 120V FL 202397 (part no.204040) with side locking latches

are these interchangeable with the old CT 36 body style?

Yes they are, Festool always takes care of that.
The older style will not be available anymore thus the new one should fit.
