Some of the Amazon.de vendors will not ship items with lithium ion batteries outside the EU.  I checked the shipping options for two of the vendors for the saw and they do not offer any shipping to the US.

An alternative might be Bullet Tools cutter for $240.00. From Amazon.com

Add a fiberglass blade to your do-all saw and you are in business.

It would definitely be worth knowing if the insulation project was for batt or rigid foam, of course.

The knives/blades for each use is different. The blade for rigid insulation has normal teeth while the fiberglass insulation uses a continuous wavy blade.

2 scrap 2x4s are a lot cheaper and local sourced.

I don't think anyone needs/wants specialized tools for a simple cross cut, that's easy.  It's doing rip cuts, outlet box cuts, chamfers and so forth where the saw would be great.  Material like mineral wool are not too bad to work with, but if you have a lot of it to do, the saw would be nice.

I have looked into getting NAINA products shipped from European vendors in the past and they just won't do it. I suppose the only way is to have it shipped to someone you know and get them to send it to you. If you know someone with a "good" address, you're in luck.

Mineral wool bats. And I'd only be interested in bare tool anyway. I have plenty of batteries.

Here is one German vendor that ships to the US and has the ISC 240 Li EB Basic (576571) in stock for €399.  This is the bare tool without batteries or charger, and is the newer model that replaced 574821.  I have no idea what the difference is between the two versions.  Based on the weight, it appears shipping would be an additional €50.

I bought some Bessey clamps from this vendor, but have never bought power tools from them.
