Well was at the IWF show today and it was great.  when I was back at festool usa for the router class in july I took one of my bandana's to give to christian as a present.  signed by me.... (funny thing was as he pointed out it was made in china!)
so since he was not there at the time.... we got together today to take a picture !

here it is..... All I have to do now is install bead board in his office !

enjoy.... also great show and festool had some great new stuff to show off  look out !

Nice picture Kreg.
Wish I could be there.

Now where are the pictures of the new stuff you speak of. [sad]

Haha, great picture.  That's my man (my Festool rep), Toby, in the background.  Now I can excuse his tardiness in responding to my 2 am emails and phone calls this week.  Looks like he's actually working hard. [eek]

Great shot, Kreg!  Christian must be, what, 6'11"?   [big grin]

No- Kreg's around 4'-11".....lol.  Christian is about my height (6'-4") or so.

I just left the IWF- met Kreg, Christian, and a bunch of the Festool guys.  I even got my own personal tutorial on how to square up my new MFT-3 from Steve Bace.  I feel so special.......

here is bob Kovacs a new forum member and friend of mine  and myself at the booth.  they have in the works a new miter saw set up that is really cool. with a new folding stand and wider rails for one thing.

Man, stop photoshopping my hair out of the pictures!  If you're going to do that, at least get rid of the glare on my forehead while you're at it.....

Hello,
I am new to the forum, woodworking and at some point in the near future the owner of some new Festools. I am compiling my list of Festool's that I would like to purchase. Is there anything that I should wait for that might becoming out soon? Can you tell me without giving it away?

I wouldn't say there was anything earth-shattering revealed there, other than the new CT26 and CT36 vacs, which are replacing the CT22 and CT33.  They'll be shipping in October, and are worth waiting for if you're thinking of a vac in that size range.

Oh, Christian's a bit taller - maybe 6'7" - if memory serves. Steve (and Brian S.) are aces.
Sorry I didn't make it his time.

Bob

I buy some kapex extensions and then I see those, I am always told to wait and save my money.

No offense but, it gets old after a while.  [mad]

Funny thing is, if I recall correctly, Christian's boss is even taller! Wonder whether being tall is a Festool management job requirement?

I've met Kregg and wondered if he was sitting in the pic. [big grin]  Christain being 6'7" explains it.

You're probably thinking of Holger Schulz.  He now runs Festool Australia.  I guess at 5' 11", I'm just not cut out to move up the corporate ladder.  [crying]
