After creating a few practice panels I decided to try making a Japanese style floor lamp. Cheers.

Wow, that’s nice! A lot of work too I’d guess.
Diffused soft light in a beautiful frame, that can’t be wrong.

Which wood did you use for the kumiko?

Basswood for the Kumiko pieces and white oak for the frame. Cheers.

I used Japanese Shoji paper.
