Jet JDS Disc Sander

Does anyone have or routinely use the Jet JDS 12B Benchtop sander?

If so, I'd like to know how it performs for you and also, what on that little thing makes it so HEAVY. I recently bought one but didn't take delivery yet. The package weight is over 100 pounds 

Nickao, if you read this perhaps you may have feedback....I saw your recommendation on Amazon. Seems that you give it a thumbs up. Still feel that way?

I've got one.  It's a good solid machine with a cast iron table.  Good dust collection.  I use mine for wood and metal.  No regrets.

Metal is a bonus!! I'm guessing that it is the cast iron table that gives it the 100+ pounds in weight. Is that true?

It's heavy, not sure about 100 lbs though.  It has a good size induction motor that is also heavy.  The nice thing about the table is that it has a standard miter gauge slot.  Most of the less expensive Al table models have non-standard miter gauge slots.
