Jet Oscillating Sander - shaft Connector Man'ing Faults Charles Wilson Thread

I have a Jet oscillating sander and have the sames issues as Charles Wilson circa June 3 2010. The balancing shims fell apart and for good measure one of the screws in the coupler has sheared in the stuff. I have been advised a spare part will have to be shipped by container, 3 weeks. Machine is 8 months old, very little work. [A DHL bag would get here in 3 days max. JET needs to know this is unacceptable. I would like to know how Charles story ended, I cannot find the thread anymore.

hi there. welcome to the fog.
i dont know about which thread you are after but thats not good sevice.
i would ring them up and say i want my parts in 1 week or else im bringing back the machine under warrenty.
i would probably bring it back anyway if bits were breaking this fast after 8 months
