Great time I had. Seeing friends and meeting hundreds of new friends and to meet another moderator Seth who I was able to get to look the other way now on some of my crazy post.....
But that still leaves the "MAN". Shane !!!

Thank you to all those guys who took the time to stop me and say hey thanks for the videos that you have made they are awesome and I have bought more festools because of them

I'm surprised that no one commented on the FOG polo shirts!  Pre-production models!

What shirt?  Did you see a shirt?  I didn't see a shirt.  ???

Seth

Good to reconnect with old faces and meet quite a few new ones.  Seth, don't think we had a chance to meet!

The event of Festool Connect was truly awesome, beside all the meet and greet of so many FOG Brethren and of Festool USA people the new realease coming and Brian's afternoon tips and tricks, you just had to be there to experience all the energy in the room.

Meeting Kreg was so much fun, I got my autographed beadborad and just had a ball hanging with him and all the others for the two days I was there. We became a fairly large group for sure

I want to thank Festool for the event and I hope this is the first of more to come.

The FOG shirts that Peter and Seth were walking around in are great, hopefully something coming in the near future.

thanks for the pictures peter,, you got a good one with my eyes closed !  last year someone got me napping in the lobby... lol

this picture here is from a guy who came up to me and was so happy to see me as he reached into his pocket and pulled out an american flag bandana that he had bought just to have me autograph it.!!!  wow that was a first and special moment.....

It was great to meet FOG members and Festool staff !  [smile]

At the Festool Connect event I spoke to several people looking for info and such on the tools and they will almost certainly be signing up on FOG  [thumbs up]

Sean , somehow our paths did not cross. Maybe next time or if I take a trip down state.

The convention center is nice, and plenty of walking distance restaurants. The brew pub had some excellent beers. And another  bar/grill/ deli had a great menu of hot and cold sandwiches. Yum.

I had a good time at the Festool connect event too.  No other tool manufacturer, to my knowledge, puts anywhere close to the effort Festool does to connect with end users.  The lunch was pretty dang good too!  I was psyched to get the new work light, I used it on Saturday to repair a plumbing leak in my Grandmother's dank basement.  Worked like a charm.  I wish there was more info on the finishing kit.  Another example of Festool organizing a job for someone like me who needs all the help I can get!

I hope they do it again next year.

Kevin

Yeah, Sean and I were just speaking on the way back how much fun we had getting to shake hands with a lot of you wackos.. Since the both of us are slightly of center as well, we had a blast and felt like we fit right in.

Good to finally have met so many of you.

[smile]
