Thought I would start a thread to keep track of various jobs I have been doing as well as general tool related bits and bobs. Keeping it in one place might mean I dont forget about what I have done as the days/weeks/months roll by it all seems to merge into one and I havent got a clue what I did last week let alone a month ago, who knows I might even get more efficent!

Hows the tsc? could it replace the TS

Hows the bhc compare to your previous sds?

To early to say as yet, I do alot of fitting work so the flexibility of the cordless was attractive. All my tools are 240v and due to new contracts I need to change them over to 110volt so where possible I am getting cordless.

My old sds is a bosch 240v which I solid and at least 5 yr old. Love how light the bhc is and the shock absorber. I plan on getting the bosch sds fast fix holesaw set for use with it.

Its a couple of tools i'm thinking of buying, I'm currently on makita 18v and hilti 36v but just bought the DRC so may change my 18v jigsaw and sds, shame they dont do a planer

Yeah I doubt they will due to dust extraction tho. Im waiting to see when the vecturo comes out in 18v. Im getting a cordless carvex as well.

Tried the tsc out today and am very impressed. Thought i would try a few cuts in ply onsite and see if it was worth setting up the midi. Never bothered getting the midi out the van. Hardly any dust. Power wise only ply but plenty of juice and very smooth. I can see myself only bothering with the normal ts55 as shop/backup saw now

It's looking fantastic. Thanks for posting the pics and especially the panoramic picture of the raw space. Brings back great memories of working on a river view job I did in 2000. Nothing beats those views!
