I heard it turns brown after some time but I have never seen that happen. Thanks.

Yeah it's funny, I always heard it goes brown when you cut it and exposure makes it go purple again, not in this case. I cut up a slab that'd been sitting in my shed the last year or so and it was a vibrant purple still, all the cut boards were really rich in colour.

I did though leave an offcut strip in the sun a couple of days and the deep purple on that was insane!
