Just wanted to say thanks to Festool for the write up in Festool's Sysnotes this month. The curved humi isn't done yet but I'm getting close. [smile]

Bill,

I read this in sysnotes this afternoon and was really impressed. Congratulations. Remember though, they wouldn't include you in there if they didn't think you were showing them and the tools in a fantastic light. Maybe they should be thanking you! You're always so modest...!

Thanks for continuing to share your work with us, it's inspiring.

Bill,

The real thanks goes to you, of course.  You have honored the members of this forum with sharing your craft and projects in great detail.  I think I speak of behalf of everyone when I say that you are a valuable contributor to the forum.  It was my pleasure to include your project in SysNotes.  I know we all look forward to seeing the finished project!

Hopefully some of that traffic to your website will yield some additional business for you...  [big grin]

Thanks so very much. I'm glad to be a part of this family of woodworkers and I'm happy to share my projects with everyone. Your responses are very inspiring.
I also have a few more projects coming up I think you'll all enjoy. I just wish I had more time. I've got a combo I'm working on for a Jewelry box and a matching humidor. I won't be able to show them until after X-Mas just in case the recipients are members here, but these are being built with my finest materials. More to come soon. [smile]

Hi Bill

Your humidor's are absolutely amazing and we really appreciate you posting them on the forum.

ALL of your projects are inspirational!!!

You deserved to win the sander last year and you deserve to have a writeup in Sysnotes!

Keep up the great work

Woodguy, only the best thing ever!  [tongue]

SysNotes is an email newsletter that I have been creating and distributing since late 2007 when I came onboard with Festool USA.  It is distributed roughly once per month.  Here's a link to the latest and greatest version with the article from Bill.

http://www.festoolusa.com/SysNotes/SysNotes-nov-2009.html

Anyone can (and should) sign up for SysNotes using the option on the homepage of the Festool USA website.  Enjoy.

Shane,

Have you considered adding a link from the FOG to Festool USA?  Also, how about a link from the FOG to sign up for Sysnotes?  Just a thought.

Steve, both are good ideas.  Just a note, but only about 65-70% of the visitors to the FOG are from the US though and we have visitors from over 120 countries.  The better thing might be a link to the Festool international website and let visitors choose, or possibly a link to that and the Festool USA website.  I'll add this to my ever growing "to-do" list.  [wink]  Thanks for the feedback.
