kapex and accesdories

Hi, For all of you have the Kapex, a few questions.
1 Did you get the Kapex separately, or with the kit, stand and table?
2 Would getting a 1080 be nice as to have a place to put parts and pieces as they are cut? I trim houses and when cutting base boards, it's nice to be able to stack them up on my work bench. ( which is a Delta Universal ?? with flip out rollers and 2 nice big wheels, which I love )
3 what other accessories did you get?
Just curious and anticipating 1 for me..

1. The Kapex set came with the saw, an MFT800, crown molding wings, and the legs with measuring fence. I got the set.
2. I have the above and a 1080, and I'm seriously thinking about another 1080.
3. If you mean what else comes with the Kapex, it has a hold-down clamp and an angle gauge. Und a fricken la-zer beam.

Hi Tom,
1 With the kit
2 YES, you have a good point there, I use booth sizes
3 Systainer2 to keep track of all the bits and pieces that comes with the kit and a Festoolbag for the legs and fence (the fence is HEAVY)  see pictures...forgive me for the poor quality on the pictures, I used my cellphone.

Good idea about the bag. I was going to get one for my guide rails. Guess I'll get two.

Incidentally, I found that having a 2-4' level and a 1900 guide rail handy was good for helping set up the legs.

Hi again Tom,

I also got the 36 hose, with it you get very good sawdust extraction. I can?t see anything getting airborne when I use it.
I also dress properly when I use the Kapex... 8) see picture

The vest looks nice but isn't it a pain to lay on your side to get into it.  ;D

what kind of prices are we looking at for the KAPEX. I'm in the US, and we're wondering what it's going for? (so we know what to expect?
