I've had my Kapex since its intro and recently started experiencing a problem with the arm controlling the blade guard ( center of picture) sticking on its bearing. Lubing it helped but didn't correct the problem. I have to manually move the steel arm to the left to get it to track properly on the bearing, as it wants to slide off to the right and jam. Any suggestions?

I have a new Kapex and I'm experiencing the same thing. It only happens periodically though, almost like there's a little to much play in it. Sometimes I wouldn't call it jammed but it just hits a point and sticks or there's a "catch" and then it continues. Then it will work ok for 5 or 10 times, then stick again.

My recommendation would be to first contact the service department. Those guys deal are in contact with customers and have the best knowledge and experience is diagnose and resolve any issues you might be experiencing with your tools. Their number is below in my signature and they are available M-F, 8a-5p ET.

Thanks Shane, I'll do that. I wasn't overly concerned about it as I could just release the trigger, let the saw up and do it again and the it wouldn't catch. So it wouldn't be something  I would want to send the saw in for at this point. But I'll call anyway just to see if they have any suggestions
