Hello everyone, I am new to kapex. I wanted to get some options in regards to detents. I noticed that there are no common detents on the bevel such as 33.9 typical crown detent that usually preset on other miter saws. What is your input on this and is there maybe a reason festool did not include these in their bevel.

I noticed your comment in the other thread but didn't get a chance to reply.
Not speaking for Festool here but I think that the use of crown molding isn't as prevalent in European and other countries not on our side of the ocean. And certainly not in the heights that would require cutting on the flat versus in the nested position. If I need to cut on the flat I grab a digital protractor and a piece of scrap mdc and make a triangle to set the blade then mark the scale with a pencil. Almost as fast as a pre-set.
