so i picked up a kapex a while ago. used it a bit and found it wasnt all that bang on for mitres. so arranged for it to be taken away and callibrated. ive not used it yet since i got it back but i will be over the next few days. ive just put it back onto the ug cart and remembered a question i was going to ask a while back.

it came from the factory with a little sticker on the front right hand side of the base,.

whats it for? never seen that sticker on any of my other festools.

My guess it is a reminder to turn the saw miter to 60degrees before you fold the saw down on the UG stand.
Also remember to check the bevel gauge when you move the saw back to the upright position as my saw moves off the 90degree bevel when I fold up the UG stand for transport.

Good question, I've seen that sticker and just ignored it but folding it down on the UG stand makes sense.

So what is the little brown thing stuck to the sticker then? It was on when I took it out its original box and it's still on after being in for repair. Obv the tech dept have pat tested it so there's an extra sticker on it now too but that one is the one I'd kinda like to know about like

I would guess that it is a caution sticker to remind the Festool folk to rotate the table to the shipping location - all the way to the right.  If the sticker is hidden and the table locked it is good to go.
