Kapex Slide Rails

Hello All...  I am new to the Festool world and to FOG.  I just purchased the Kapex 120 and OF 1400 router as my first tools.  While I am really impressed with the how smooth the 1400 router operates and plunges, I am not impressed with the slide mechanism on the Kapex.  With the saw off, there is considerable vibration in the motor head and blade as I push the saw from fully extended to fully retracted.  Its almost as if the bearings aren't greased properly.  Or the guide rails aren't properly aligned and are putting excessive pressure on the bearings.  Is this normal for a brand new Kapex?  Is there an adjustment for this?  Thanks in advance for your help!

That does not sound normal at all. The slide should be smooth. Do make sure that the blue knob on the top that locks the power head to the right rail is not engaged.

Thank you both for the input!  I did verify that the carriage lock is completely loose.  I assumed it should be smooth as silk but didn't see any comments to that effect.  I tried about 100 cycles to see if it would loosen up but to no effect. Thanks.
