I'm wanting to build a mobile station for the Kapex here in the shop. I'm planning to build the station, but would like some ideas/advice for the fence extensions.  I would like to keep the footprint no more that 8 feet wide but have the ability to slide a fence extension out on both sides.  I would like the fence to be highly accurate.  Cost is a factor, but not as much as an efficeint accurate system.  The pictures below of our Altendorf cross cut fence is pretty much exactly how I would like the extensions to function.  Are there any manufacters that make something like this? Any other advice?  Thanks!

Thanks for the response.  I had thought of those but wasn't sure how they would work.  Can the legs be removed easily to allow it to be mounted flush with the surrounding table?  Similar to this pictue but I would recess the wood top to allow for the UG wings.  Anyone did anything like that?

The extension from the EB set are also still available, and look more like what you want: link You need these to connect them to the saw.
You can check in ekat if it's worthwhile to just order the parts without the legs.

I don't know how the leg is attached. I saw these at a road show last year and they are on my list of things to buy. I had the same idea as you for a miter saw station
