tjbnwi Member Joined May 12, 2008 Messages 7,043 Sep 19, 2023 #2 I doubt you'll find a lighter spring. Try spraying the spring and pivot with garage door lube. It is designed for torsion springs. Tom

They probably have a minimum quantity but they're pretty inexpensive.
