I have the Kapex cart with UG wings. The flip stops are great, but the adjustment of the wings is miserable. Has anyone found an aftermarket flip stop with works with wings and is adjustable? Much easier than loosening the two screws underneath (and having to redo it for each set up). Thanks

[member=18555]Weens1[/member] can detail this a little more. Are you talking about the flip/flag stop that simply slides in the track on the rear edge of UG wing? Don't understand why the need for loosening the bracket screws on the underside of the UG wing. Maybe I'm not understanding your OP.

Calibrate!!! Thats the word I couldn’t think of. I struggle with calibrating the stop with the rulers on the wings. I can’t keep my UG set up all the time. So each time I don’t trust that the stops stay calibrated. Does that clear it up?

If I understand you right, it’s fiddly yes.. The calibration of the ruler against the saw blade.. but once calibrated to your saw, it shouldn’t need a recalibration for a while. If you use the wings for let’s say a MFT and a CMS table it would probably need adjustment for each new application.

Now I got ya. As [member=71478]FestitaMakool[/member] mentioned though, once the ruler is calibrated for a given blade calibration should be consistent with each setup/breakdown. I use the stops on my wings when batch cutting a given length. I first measure the piece, start/make the cut and set the stop to my cut. Rarely do I use the ruler on the wings  for dimensioning a one off cut, used as a reference only most times.
