Katz Free Finish video question

He was cutting sheet goods on the MFT with some kind of supplemental support.  It looked like Kreg Miter Track with 1x3 lumber in them.  Can anyone comment or elaborate on this?

yes that is a great table to use for cutting up sheet goods. and pretty simple to make.
