Kerf Width of TS55REQ Festool Blades

I've searched and can't find the answer although I'm sure it's out there.

What is the kerf width of the blade included with the TS55REQ?

Do all TS55REQ Festool blades have the same width kerf?

If not, doesn't that ruin the splinter guard's accuracy when it's cut for the original blade?

If not, where do I find the kerf width of all of Festool's blades? I've looked on the website and can't find it.

All the TS55 blades now have the same kerf width - 2.2mm.

Well, in the UK possibly. In the US/Canada, we still have the 14-tooth Panther blade which is 2.5. All other blades for the TS 55 EQ/REQ are 2.2mm. The blade that comes with it is the 48-tooth 2.2mm.

Edit: There is a 12-tooth 2.2mm blade if you need a rip blade and want to keep the same kerf.

Thanks. I need to use the off-cut piece and wanted to make sure that I allowed sufficient width to permit me to joint it to the exact width I need. As always, your answers are prompt and helpful, as the site is also. I'm just finally getting to use the saw more and I love it so far. Very accurate and actually cuts very smooth (even though I will still always run pieces through the jointer to get it just right).

Just make sure you cross reference the part you are ordering to make sure it's the current blade.  There are vendors out there still selling the blades with the 2.5mm kerf, which has a different part number.  (If I had them handy I'd give them to you, but I know the part #s have been posted on this site before)
