I have been changing my workshop around. I moved the Kapex and its new position just asked for a decent fence.
As you can see I used the Kreg system, so I thought you might like to see some pictures of it. I used the off cuts of MDF and some redwood that I have laying around to make it, so it isn't very pretty but functional. I have a removable section on the left hand side because of the band saw, so if I do need the extra length I can pull the band saw out and install another section. I will probably get a extra lentgh as well,  that will give me 6 feet on the left hand side.
The piece of softwood with the measuring tape on it is 400mm long, this can be used to line up with the pencil line on the fence, for measurements that are under 370mm. This is to allow the adjustment of the rear fences on the Kapex.

Very nice Mick...  I too use the Kreg fence on my miter saw station.  Has been very accurate for me!

Thank you very much Baremeg55. It is a very robust system.

Nice. Is there any mechanical attachment of the wings to the Kapex or are they just "butted" up against the kapex? I couldn't tell from the photos.

Thanks!

Thanks for comment Billk400. Nothing fancy just butted to the Kapex. The Kapex and fences are fixed down to the bench, it's just for workshop use.
The downside to it is that I had to remove my lathe. So that is the next problem, where to put my lathe  [unsure]
