Kreg systainer

That’s what I had in mind. But why are they keeping it a secret?
I think Metabo/Metabo HPT/Hikoki/Hitachi has become such a basket case with their takeovers and mergers that they don't have time to advertise niche products.

That is the one I saw and may give it a try, I just don't know how crazy international shipping will be! Thank you.
FWIW, I just ordered a few items from Sautershop... total €126.45 (~$149.39 USD) + €17.95 (~$21.21) "shipping" fee charged by Sautershop for a total bill of €144.40 (~$170.59 USD) to Sautershop.
I was a bit scared because the general tariff amount is 15% but with unspecified German steel items being 50%... and most of what I ordered was made from German steel.
Today, I got the notice from UPS today to pay the import fees: there was a $23.55 fee listed as "government charges" which is ~13.8% of the €144.40 total or ~15.8% of the €126.45 "goods" subtotal... PLUS a $29 "brokerage charges" that I couldn't tell if that was a flat rate or % based. Going to the UPS website was not enlightening in what the fees would be or how they are calculated. SO... in total... there was the €17.95 (~$21.21 USD) Sautershop shipping charge + $52.55 "import" charges = $73.76 total shipping/duties/tariff charges... which on a "goods" bill of €126.45 (~$149.39) works out to be a 49.4% premium. YMMV.

Yeah, I will just pick up a regular systainer for it. If the Kreg one pops up for sale I will grab it, cause I am a sucker for systainers. I was able to pick up the Sawstop systainer a couple weeks ago locally. Wasn't able to buy it from Sawstop when they announced they were going to be given away with the purchase of a saw. Since I already have 2 Sawstop saws I wasn't buying a 3rd to get the systainer!
late to game here, what did you do? I've been storing my Kreg 7XX in a T-loc Sys 4 since it fits in there without dismantling. Have been wanting to 3D print a tray for it based on gridfinity, so let me know if you still want something like that maybe we can collaborate .

That is what I was afraid of so I just ordered a regular sys4. Thanks for sharing your experience, definitely solidified that I don't need the Kreg branded one that bad.

I ordered a sys 4 already but haven't gotten back to setting it up. Life gets in the way! I hadn't even heard of gridfinity, it is all new to me. If it can work as a way to store it and the hose adapter for the Festool hose that would be awesome.

It is less the insert and more the Kreg branded systainer, but if I can get both I will. I can use Kaizan Foam in it if the insert isn't available.
The trip across the pond, the tariffs and the wait time is why I am trying to find one over here first. If not I can just use a regular systainer but that seems boring compared to the fancy branded one.
It looks like the default white Tanos systainer with the default blue latch though....

I have access to a cricut; if you do, just cut a kreg sticker out of blue vinyl for the top, looks almost like thats exactly what they did. I did it for my Metabo air compressor systainer and air tool storage.

Props on that systainer. I looks very well done. Very professional

OMG just realized an entire new category of uses for my 3d printer!
Yep; i don't have a 3d printer yet, but my buddy does, and he printed the fan grills and the piece in the front that lets the air hose control and connector be inset. Did that same thing for my Vacuum pump in a systainer too.

(The silver screws were replaced with black screws with rubber washers once i got them). I just rattle can prime then paint the latches, the grills and the inset so they all match; figure thats better than buying a bunch of extra latches that will be useless; this was before the current Systainer USA store let you swap all those parts when ordering though.

Oh man, when I asked them (Systainer store) about that they kind of freaked out. "What? Why?". This was before they changed hands, like at least 10 years ago.

They just couldn't comprehend that you might want a different colored latch and not have the old blue one sitting around collecting dust.

They did do it for me, but reluctantly.

Packard, I bought 3d base clips for both Milwaukee packout and for Festool as I use both systems. Most of my tools, not just Festool, live in systainers, but use packouts for my consumables. I can now mount both vise/versa in my van.
