Howdy.

I am having an issue with the KSC60 and the plastic UG-AD-KS60 top for the UG stand. The plastic intermediate 'wings' are sloped down towards the saw. The problem I am having is that to make the surface from the saw base to the outside edge of the plastic top, prior to the aluminum wing, I have to have the saw base high enough that I cannot slide a piece of trim from a wing to the saw blade without it hitting/hanging up on the saw base edge.

Have contacted Festool and spoke with an application manager twice and have been reassured that this slope is intended. So what am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Todd

Hi Peter. Sorry, but the image was in the correct orientation. The image is the KSC60 base to UG-AD-KSC stand with the SPR800 Rapid as a straightedge. It was upside down in the picture but was there to show the sloped gap between the straightedge and the plastic stand wing.
