Hi guys, Ive been using this with my CMD TS 75 module. Its a great fence.

My only question is how to adj so the rear of it tapers out maybe .5 -1 mm to compensate for the toe in of the saw.

When I had a table saw I would do this so as it helps to avoid kick back by getting the timber bound between the blade and the fence.

Just curious, thanks.

Are you trying to rub our faces in the fact that you now have a CMS module for the TS as if we can help with that question?  Haha just messing with you but if you send the module and stopper over here I'll let you know how to adjust it!

If I recall correctly, there are a few allen bolts at the front of the fence to make the adjustments you want, but personally I wouldn't mess with them if it isn't needed.

To avoid binding/ kickback, it's better to adjust the auxiliary fence appropriately for the cut being made. If you loosen the two tumbscrews, you can slide the auxiliary fence to the front. For ripping solid wood it's best that it doesn't extend pass the centre of the blade.

If you use the fence as a length stop when crosscutting with the slidingtable, it should stop before the front of the blade.

Thank You. I heard from Phil at festool that is how to solve my issue.

Im going to try it on my next project in a week or so.

FYSA,

Ok heres what I did. first I took the long extrusion off and used the one that came with the angle stop .

The length of it puts its right about the rear end of the saw blade, thus making it a euro style fence.

Then when I lock the fence down I have to lock the rear of the fence first. That tightens it on the V groove of the CMS clamping it straight /perpendicular to the blade. Then tighten the front  knob that locks the front of the fence.
That seems to be working.
