Laguna Resaw King

Good morning.
Would anyone have any recommendations on and alternate blade/manufacture that would produce a blade equal or better to Laguna's Resaw King, 3/4", 3TPI and 115" long.

About half the cost of Torbin's . But,  doesn't come in pretty display box.

Highland Woodworking usually has them in stock.

Starrett also make them, but I haven't actually seen one in person.

Might want to check out Timber Wolf.  I haven't tried a resawing specific blade from them yet but have been happy with the couple that I ordered.
I'm using one of their 1/2" general use blades on my 14bx and it's been great.

Not sure how their resawing blades compare to the Resaw King but they are a fraction of the cost.

Take a look at the WoodSlicer from Highland woodworking.  I currently am using one and have been very pleased.  In fact I also bought the Resaw King a couple of years ago and have yet to mount it.  Keep in mind that the Resaw King can be resharpened 4 to 5 times ($45)

Definitely a Tri-master.  I have had bad experience with two Laguna Resaw Kings.  One broke the first time I used it after Laguna had resharpened it due to stress cracks every third gullet. I sent the broken blade back to them and asked them how this could happen.  If they were there before sharpening, then why did they even bother to sharpen it?  The second also failed after a relatively short time.  I was using 105" blades on a 14" cast iron saw and folks have said that the wheel radius was likely too small for that blade.

The Resaw King cut beautifully when it worked, but I couldn't trust the reliability so I switched to the Tri-master.  It is a great blade and cuts nearly as well as the RK for a far better price.  I have had the Tri-master for several years now and it is still going strong.
