Lake Placid pond hockey tournament

I've gathered there's some hockey fans here, not sure if anyone still plays. But other than my woodworking obsession, this is my other obsession, the only thing that I will give up a weekend in the shop for. A 15 degree day and snowing, dare I say is quite relaxing to me anyway.

That's cool. I play and help coach hockey, specifically my sons squirt team.  My son is playing in a hockey tournament in Lake Placid at the end of March.  They get to play at least 1 game on the same ice the 1980 US Olympic team beat the soviets.

Ah yes, we are right across the street at the Golden Arrow. There's a men's tournament there I think in April that we've been trying to get into for years with no luck. Simply beautiful up here
