I bought a leigh d4r jig before christmas. i just started using it over the last week. the guide fingers seem to be very tight, i have loosened the screws on top and tried to move each one. it takes a lot of pressure to push them along the rails.
has anyone experienced this before?
maybe it is normal because it is brand new.

It helps to push down on the screw head once it is loosened.  This frees up the clamping gib? to slide freely.
I had the same problem at first with my D4 jig.

Have fun,

Ken

Kipster is right.  after I loosen the screw, I leave the driver on the screw and give the driver a tap with my palm to pop it loose....  then they slide freely.
