New Highland Hardware catalogue, pg 65 has the
base Leigh FMT jig price marked down from $799
to $599.  Wonder if the DOMINO had anyting to
do with this price reduction.  The base unit
included the jig, five 5/16" Joint Guides and a
5/16" HSS spiral up-cut end mill (that's about
8mm for the metric folks).

Interesting.

The Multi-Router, on the same page has the
same old $2,700 base price so I guess they
aren't worried about the DOMINO.

I agree it is likely the "Domino" effect.  I know I sold my FMT, biscuit joiner, and Dowelmax once I started using the Domino.  I can't say I miss them.  I really liked the FMT, and the Dowelmax, but the reality is that I just didn't use them, as the Domino is so much faster.

Someday I might pick up the FMT, as it had a certain kind of "coolness" about it, and did work as advertised.
