Im always intrigued how things are done or get done. Sonmaybe you guys can help me out. Ive included some pics. These are all cabinets by the way.
First picture is of a door. Looks to be raised panel but it almost looks to be 2 pieces? If it is 2 how did they do that?

2nd pic is bottom of cabinet from home depot. Question is what type of wood is that?

3rd pic is a door fr same home depot set. Looks to have a raised panel w a back cut but i guess all the inlays is just trim?

Thank you for playing. Howd tbey do that.. :D

The top picture is a stand rail and stile raised door. To get the profile and required toung and groove you would use a matched router bit set for cabinet doors. You make the groove and bead profile with one bit, the use a coping sled and the matched bit to make the rail from the stile.

The bottom picture is a mitered cabinet door. Similar to a picture frame. One would make the groove first the use a profile bit to make the desired shape on the outside. A biscuit or domino would be used to strengthen the miter joint.

I can’t open the middle picture. Hope this helps. Just google cabinet door construction and load thru the pictures to get an idea.

Other people on here could provide some good books to reference.
