In celebration of the release of the T-LOC MINI in the U.S. I thought I would make a place for people to share their pictures and ideas of what to store in a mini

I have all T-LOC's, even swapped out a few old classics for T-LOC's.   I never bought any Mini's because I didn't like that they weren't T-LOC.  So I'm pretty excited about these and will be buying several

Help me figure out what to put in them

I thought this would go along well with my other thread for pictures of systainer organization Here

My buddy Brian who makes the pre-cut Kaizen foam for systainers, is on his game and already has pre-cuts for the T-LOC MINI. This link will get you to his eBay store where he sells it all.  Pre-cut Kaizen foam for systainers

Start posting those pictures of your mini's    new, old, messy and neat.  We don't discriminate  [tongue]

I have 4 of the Tanos Minis Im yet to set up.  Im really keen to get some Kazien Foam for them ..... does your buddy ship international, as i can't seem to ask him via his ebay store.  Any help would be appreciated, then i can add to this thread.

Just for a quick answer, i think Yes.

Festool Fishy (England)  bought some from Brian  and posted pics of what he did with them about a week later  Fishys Foam Pics

I can also get in touch with him and make sure

I bought two of them when i ordered some accessories and consumables just to see if inspiration would come to me. But so far they are sitting in a corner waiting for THE idea to pop up.
My idea would be to set up small drill accessory packs or something, drills and spade bits and such are usually pure metal, filling a regular systainer with those makes it heavy as lead. This could be a good use for them.
I just wish they made deeper ones, that would open alot more possibilities like putting your camera in it and such.

Timtool, hopefully this thread will bring that inspiration to you that you have been searching for!!

Davej,  Way to star things off strong here!!  that is one well put together mini, you clearly put a lot of time and thought into planning that out, nice job!

what do you have holding the wrenches ratchet and drivers?

also what did you screw the lid mdf to?

In the lid of the T-loc mini you have 4 hollow round plastic extrusions in which you can drive a screw or bolt, i suppose it is similar on the classic mini.
The regular systainers have it as well, it's where they put those white plastic pegs in to hold the lid printed paper backing.

As Tim says there are 4 ' holes' in the lid that I screwed the mdf to . The holders for the spanners etc is acrylic heated up and bent round each item and held in place till cool so it didn't  spring back . Dave

came across this browsing lee valleys   i think i found a use for one!

If you use small sizes, try the Pro hold versions, never drop a fastener again
