Lately i found myself using the syslite more and more while sanding with the ETS150/5, in normal diffused workshop light or daylight you cannot see if you are properly removing the swirl marks from the previous grit. And they suddenly pop out while applying the finish.
So by holding the syslite in one hand on the workpiece shining as perpendicular to the surface as possible to highlight all the swirl marks, i am getting significantly better finishes and i also feel it helps me correct my methods.
So i was wondering if the ultimate sander wouldn't be one with an incorporated light shining almost horizontally around the base, that you could turn on of off??
All tools could generally use a Led lighting these days for visibility reasons, but in this case it would improve the work quality.
