Local dealer quandary?

[Any idea on when we can get the new thingy for the Domino?  The one for $22 that screws on the bottom and has stops that allow mortises closer to the edge of the material.  I'll pay shipping if necessary.

Looks like Festool has recieved some and shipped them to the dealers. Sooooo, some dealers either have them are are geting them in very soon.

Thanks Bob and you get my order for the "thingy" as soon as you can get your hands on one.

Ok I'm offically unhijacking the thread.  Back to the original question.

I would have no problem buying all my Festool stuff from Bob.  I think of these dealers whose names we know as "local".

In my case I have a dealer who is great and is just down the road, Woodworker's Paradise in Lumberton Texas.  We have a lot of fun messing with all the Festool gear.  They make most of their money off traditional stationary machines and consumables but thier heart is with Festool.  I'm going to do a workshop on the FS-PA at his place one Saturday in the Fall.

How about this for a plan.  If you have a good local independent dealer who is really committed to Festool then use him for the stuff he has in stock,  especially if some of the tax dollars stay in your town.  And use Bob and the other fine internet dealers for everything else.

Mine should be here later today. But then, I thought the same last week and was on backorder instead...

I have a slightly different problem. I have sent two emails and left one phone message with "Timmy C" in hopes of speaking with him and would like to purchase a TS 75, a RO150, a CT33 and a large Router for working with large hardwood slabs. I haven't received any response. Would anyone know if he is still in business? or maybe a better question would be this; I live in Hawaii and would like to purchase the above mentioned items but i would like to speak with a real knowledgable person that can help steer me in the right direction as far as accessories and to make sure that the tools that i am speaking of are right for the application. on Maui we don't have an Festool dealers. Woodcraft has a shop on Oahu but if i have to go there, i may as well order over the internet. Any suggestions on a west coast dealer or are their any enthusiastic dealers out there that don't mind dealing with the time difference and would be willing to help?
