It's not 100% done, I need to add pics to the gallery section, and It has a part for a blog? I don't know what I am going to do with that yet.

I would encourage you to add images as quickly as possible.  Look into making sure that the site is very visible to search engines.  Regarding a blog;  either use it or get rid of it.  Nothing is worse than seeing outdated or unused stuff on a website.  As your business grows, if you use your blog instead of Facebook to interact with potential customers or existing customers, make sure that you stay current.

Looking forward to see how it evolves!

Peter

Can't really go wrong with a WordPress site. The layout is nice and clean, which is what I like.

When you are writing content, make sure to fill it with keywords for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). If you do not know much about that, look it up and give a good read on it. You will be thankful that you did.

Nice and clean.
I second Peter about the images. This is important.

If you are up to it I think you should blog about your projects. But if you go this way I suggest that you commit yourself to a periodicity so the blog feels alive. A blog with several months old posts would probably do more harm than good.

Thanks for the feed back. My buddy made it for me and is going to teach me to update it and add pics.

From a search engine standpoint the index page (Home) is the most important page.  The header text contained with in the tags is important so skip all the welcome stuff as no one is going to be searching for "welcome to......".  Use something more specific for what you would like to be found for.  You need several paragraphs of well written text on your main page.

With Wordpress I would use "Post name" URLs which can be found under settings and permalinks.

Download and install the plugin Wordpress SEO.  Its not perfect but will got a long way towards helping a newbie get better search engine results.

Most important make it easy to read and navigate. More is not always better.  If you confuse a visitor with bad navigation and layout then they will hit the back button and move on in a heartbeat.

You are off to a good start. Just need more content.

Just an English thing, should be ENSURE

Top of the line equipment

Insures you will get the best results for your project.

This may be nitpicking, but your logo saws JML Carpentry, but it says welcome to JML Construction.  I think it is important to be consistent.  Just my $.02.

some very good feed back there.
i agreee with it all.
i follow loads of blogs. lately iv been busy adn not spend as long on them. iv weeded out a few that dont keep the content flowing. there is nothing worse that going to the site and seeing the same entries everytime. i know there are loads of genuin resons why content is not uuploaded.
stuart leese (of stu s shed) did a whole year where he posted at least one posst every day.
you dont need that level of comitment but it does keep you in peoples memories. it also gives your site more chance of being happened apon by someone looking for something else

Good start, it's never finished. I would change the pic associated with quality tools to something like a chisel or hand plane bc HOs would better recognize that or possibly a Festool. Make sure your web address is easy to find on all emails, proposals, and business cards, good luck, Eric

i would take a few pics of your work area  set up  in someones home. have everything set up really efficiently and dust free  etc. plenty of bins and buckets for scrap bits etc. cover a few things  and make sure thaey are easily visible in the back ground

i saw a few pics done like this  on one website i visited. probably someone on here . they had everything set up perfectly . it looked very profetional . im sure they got plenty of work out of it.
they had that sticky plastic wrap on all the carpets and those ziped up fabric dorr sealers.

this will easily give the homeowners a visable sign of how clean and tidy you are inside their homes. everybody hates dirty builders in their home.
get a testimonials from HOs to put on that page
