I was in Woodcraft today and as I was walking in, some guy was buying a CT36, TS55 and a RO150FEQ.  We got to chatting, naturally, and he was also getting two 1400 guide rails, one that came with the saw and another extra.  I mentioned to him I really wasn't trying to spend his money  ;D ;D but he would be much better off and happier if he got a 1900 instead of another 1400.  As I learned here many years ago, redundant guide rails are not the best way to go.  I explained that connecting two 1400's together would barely make it across a full 96" sheet of plywood with only 7" to spare on either end.  He thought about that for a minute, handed the extra 1400 back and asked for the 1900.  When you are spending close to $1600, a small amount for the difference in lengths is nothing.  He has been using Festool sanders for years but nothing else other than a Domino he purchased fairly recently.  Of course, I told him to join the FOG and figure out what he's been missing. ;D  I also told him to download Rick's supplemental manuals since the Festool versions are pretty worthless.  I should be asking a for commission...

Good. I  bought the exact same rails (1400 and 1900). But you forgot to tell him to get the 1400 with holes in it.

I wish I had known about the holes.

I have 2 1400's and they make sense for what i use them for, two 1400's fit in the guide rail bag. I transport my tools to almost every job I have so things being protected and easy to carry are worth not having different sizes. I might pick up a larger one if I change what I am doing.  That being said, I do understand why you would suggest the 1900 and the 1400 for the OP.
