LR32 and OF1400

Hi All. I recently purchased the LR32 System set off of Craigslist. The Base plate it came with doesn't have the holes required to mount it on my OF 1400. Has anyone come across this? I'm hesitant to start drilling into the plate to make my own holes, but is this my only solution?

The older LR32 plates did not have the additional holes for mounting the OF1400 router.  It must have been back around 2008 around 2008 that they changed.

You could also contact Festool USA and ask if they have the baseplate separately and once you receive it swap it out - saving the other just in case you get a 1010 in the future.
