Hi,

Can anyone provide or point me to a pic of the Systainer that holds 80 x 133 (LS130, RTS400) abrasive sheets?   How many slots?  Will the profile pads fit in the slots?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks, but I am pretty sure that none of the ones pictured are the one I am looking for.

The part number that Brice and Eli gave seems to be correct, as it is described as:

Systainer case size 1 with insert for LS130/RS400 sandpaper, SYS-STF 80x133
Item # 487435
Price $55.50

Unfortunately, the picture that accompanies that link to the Festool USA website...

cat_systainer_mit_einlage_sm_z3f_1.jpg

...seems to be common to all Systainers with abrasive inserts, and is also used to illustrate the following products:

Item #  487432
SYS-STF D4.5" RAS115 abrasives

Item #  489463
SYS-STF D125 5"

Item #  487435
SYS-STF 80x133 LS 130/RS 400

Item #  487633
SYS-STF 93V DX 93 abrasives

Item #  487433
SYS-STF 115x228 RS 2 abrasives

Item #  489464
SYS-STF delta 100x150 DS 400

Item #  487431
SYS-STF D150 6"

The image therefore seems to be a generic "Systainers with abrasive inserts" photo.

What we need is a photo specifically of Item No 487435, which is the systainer with the LS130 Insert.

Perhaps one of the dealers could have a look to see if they have such an item in stock that they could photograph?

Seth,

Here's a pic of the insert for 80x133 abrasives.  It's dusty because it's in my Systainer boneyard, waiting for a good use.

I wanted higher density storage than that insert provided, so I got a SYS-2:

The dividers, and the yellow Schnappers, are [acronym=Not Available In North America]NAINA[/acronym].

Same principle applies to D150 abrasives.  A SYS-3 handles full boxes (in the boxes) and more of them than the official storage solution.

Thanks for the pics and the idea.  I like that devider set up.    I have the 6" Abrasive Systainer and I like the insert for that. Its nice to just have it all easily selectable instead of opening the boxes.

Has anyone tried to store the HSK 80x133 sanding block in the LS130/DTS400 abrasive systainer? The footprint of the HSK sanding block is the same as the abrasive with exception to the dust extraction port. Maybe the dust extraction port will fit in the opening on the end (assuming you do not fill the entire space with abrasives)?
