Back in 2010 the FOG met MacGyver before the rest of the world.  Tonight he has a new baby brother - Indiana (Indy) Jones:

Great looking addition to the family, Mr. Halle.  [thumbs up]

I mentioned it in another thread yesterday, but I added another boxer back during the summer. Here's a photo of her playing with her cousin, a black lab, over at my parents house. She was having a blast in the shrubbery!

What an adorable puppy...I've been waiting for your post and this makes my evening. They are nothing but cute at this stage...however, they will become nothing but he!! on wheels at another stage!

Good looking boxer Shane...I remember having one when I was about 10 years old...that'd be about 20...ah 30...ah 40...ah 50 or more years ago.

Indy definitely looks like a potential trouble maker
Wife would like a puppy but super alpha german shepherd prefers to remain an only child

[member=48572]Shane Holland[/member] - That is a cute boxer dude!

[member=13058]Kev[/member] - He doesn't have my eyes but my eyes are on him!  Shane's pooch has the bags under my eyes though.  [big grin]

[member=44099]Cheese[/member] [member=21249]RKA[/member] [member=6145]Holzhacker[/member] - He is already a chewer.  My wife took him to work today and a baseboard and chair now know that he was there.  We have literally hundreds of toys left over from all the various dogs and he is interested only in MacGyver's favorites.  MacGyver is not handling this well at all.  He is running and hiding from the pup and is growling constantly.  I would have thought that with his happy-go-lucky style and the fact that he only recently lost his other friend that he would welcome the friendship but not so much at this point in time.

MacGyver was the only one of my previous 8 dogs that never had to spend a minute in a crate and also never destroyed anything.  My guess is that Indy will not follow in his footsteps.  Baseboard is cheap.

I suspect that the reindeer might have had too much eggnog.

Almost 24 hours without an in-house accident.  Now walking to the door to ask to go outside.  [thumbs up] [thumbs up] [thumbs up] [thumbs up]

Peter, He looks great.  Going to be a lot of fun.

We have had three Goldens. Two were for Guiding eye and one was a Rescue.  All were easy to train and very friendly dogs.  The first and third had very athorative barks.  Anybody who was really frightened we figured we did not want on the property any how.

With all of the pups you have had over the years, i guess you already know the fun ahead.

On another note, Our daughter is on the way up the pike as i am writing.  She is bringing her 11 old Yellow Lab for his final trip.  He won't be going back to Virginia this time.  I think she will be shedding very wet tears the whole trip.

Tinker,

Our family's thoughts are with all of you.  We are just a couple of days past losing a loved and cherished family member / friend.

Peter

Peter & Tinker,
Oh those hounds!  We get so close to them.  It justs makes my day when I get home from work and Molly & Mo meet me at the door to say hello.  They just go crazy.  Nothing like the love of a pet, unconditional.
