Making louvers with the domino

From the video:

I found that care must be taken when aligning the domino. The process is a little slow but does work well.

In watching the video, this sounds like a generous understatement. Allowing for labor time and materials to make the parts, possible error reject, how can this compare favorably with simply ordering a commercial custom, made shutter?

Answer :  It probably doesn't but the client has looked all over and hasn't found one so....

I'll probably cut housings anyway

Pardon the shameless plug, but I believe my SCG guide will allow you to perform this setup with a paddle-style Domino. They won't fold at the sharp angle that would otherwise give you a problem with the paddles in this task.

how about a 90 * fixture coming down off of the dominoand screwing a batton to that so that it holds it at the proper angle. then stlid the domino along to a mark and clamp then cut.

sounds like another job for ron wen
