Makita colors references

Hello.

I am french, my english language is not perfect...

I am a Festool fan, but... I bought a second-hand Makita LF1000.

I want to paint the damaged legs.

Would I have the answer here on the FOG?

Do you know the reference of the « blue-green » makita color (RAL number for example, or Makita paint reference) ?

Similarly for the « grey-white » color of the saw arm ?

Just Googled: Makita colour is RAL 5021.

I've seen different colors listed for Makita. You might want to get a paint sample and check it first.

Working in paint dept. today I used the motor housing of a new Makita Saw to Color Calibrate the following Formula. Looking at the International website for Dulux paint, I note it is available worldwide including Europe, the UK and Canada, but not apparently, the USA.

Base/Can: Dulux Ultra Deep/ 1litre

EE 0Y 43N +0.25
G 0Y 42N
TT 1Y 13N

Please note that although the color match looked great on the Calibrator Monitor, local variations may occur due to country of origin for tint and paint, manual or computer controlled mixing and exterior/interior paint.

Makita used multiple colours, besides the RAL 5021 mentioned you should also check out RAL 5018 and 5009.

Do not rely on colours on the screen, check with a colour booklet at the paint store.
