Has anyone used a Makita cordless track saw with Festool rails? Thanks for any replies in advance.

All the time. Just remember that rails should be saw specific or you need to adjust them so that multiple saws touch the splinter guard the same.

My first track saw was a Makita that I bought from Amazon Warehouse Deals as I wanted to see what the fuss was all about.  The rails I bought and still have were Festool that I bought local.  I used this setup for quite a few years but It struggles with some on the materials I was cutting.  I eventually bought a TS 75 on Ebay for a very good price.  My son in saw is now using the Makita.

I bought a corded Makita saw to use on a plywood grid for breaking down plywood sheets into smaller sizes and also the MFT with rail, fence, etc. I use the Makita on the MFT with the Festool rail, the Makita rail has never been out of the box except for a quality check when received to make sure that is was straight. I'm guessing that the cordless model would work as well on the Festool track as my corded version does.
