Yes, I read it as 9" max height.

Maybe they will offer optional lift stands for greater height. In my world, 9” max height would be very limiting.

But at the lower limit, I could see it used for positioning lower cabinet doors for installation. But way too heavy duty for that.

The Dewalt jack only lifts 8-3/4”. FYI, ToolNut has them on sale, a pair is $159. Here I wouldn’t be surprised if they came out with a higher lift capacity soon. On the other hand, the higher the lift the greater the liability.
