Meeting a few nice guys

Today I  (briefly) attended the Woodworking in America hand tool show in Valley Forge PA and finally had the pleasure of meeting a few members - Fred West, John Rafftery and Michael Kellough. It's interesting placing a face to a voice or forum name. Each one a true gent, and damn if John didn't have the nicest hand plane (MARCOU) I ever saw. Pics, John please.
BTW, the show is a "traveling" type enterprise and even for we Festool tool owners is an interesting way to spend some time. Next time around I plan to attend a couple of classes, instead of "just" schmoozing.

That's great, Bob.  Look forward to see that hand plane.  It's always great to meet and get to know the members of the forum and our customers in general.

Our very own FOG member, Chris Rosenberger, stopped by Festool's headquarters last week on the way back from Chicago and popped in to say hi.  What a great guy and it was a real pleasure to meet him.  Likewise with all of the FOG members that attended our first ever end user training a month ago.  I really enjoy the face time with those guys and getting to know them.

Hopefully, we will have a good number of people at the events coming up later this month in the Indianapolis area!  I'm not lucky enough to get to travel to many of our regional events and tradeshows.  So, I have to rely on local events and the occasional visitors to our offices.

Thank you Shane.
I really enjoyed the visit. It was not what I was expecting at all.
I hope to see you again soon.

Bob I thought I would be at the WWA event this weekend. My nephew lives a few miles from the location.
I was going take in WWA & spend time with my nephew. Family matters changed things, so instead of me going there
my nephew had to come here. Sorry I missed you.

Would have been nice to have met you too Chris. As for the show itself, I would definitely go again, but this time attend a class or two. Actually, I was seriously considering being an exhibitor, but  when they told me no electricity for the power tools  :o I opted out.
