Has anyone used metal pegboard?  Wall Control,https://wallcontrol.com/Index.htm, makes all sorts of different versions of pegboard (1/4" holes, slits, both) and they make lots of different hooks, hangers, etc.  It looks like a good product, but I don't know anyone who has tried it.

I don't use metal pegboard, but the top part of all the walls in my shop are covered with white regular pegboard. I really like having the pegboard.

So, my tables are covered with holes (MFTs) and my walls are covered with holes (pegboard). My wife is convinced that I have a thing for holes.  :D

I don't really use the pegboard hooks. Instead, I use plaster-board screw anchors. The achors fit the peg board holes perfectly and provide almost infinite configurations for hanging tool holders, cleats, etc.

I can take a few pics of my walls to visualize what I am talking about, if you like.

The hooks for the metal pegboard come with a rubber O ring to keep them from pulling out every time you remove a tool.  It sounds like you have an even simpler and more solid way of keeping the hooks attached.

Rey,

Please do take and post your pictures, and details of the many and various custom tool hangers you made for pegboard.  I recall seeing some of them when you posted your Kapex setup with the twin hinged MFT 800 tops.  Please also identify the specific anchors and screw size(s) you have found to work best.  I'm still working with ancient metal hooks that sometimes come out when a tool is removed.

Dave,

I will snap some pics the next time I get some time in there. I've been thinking of reorganizing some things there anyhow.
