It needs a new base (yes one more please) - one that fits the 32 hole rail and provides just 10mm of plunge, this would add another function to a specialized router, it's great at what it does, but with this addition it would also make the perfect little router to make shelf pin holes.
 
Well, I agree that its size would make it great for shelf pins holes, but its not a plunge router. So it wouldn't really work without a sophisticated base to allow it to plunge. Until then I'll just stick my 1010.

I like it. the idea that is. how about a mfk specific plungin LR32plate/base. SWEEEET 8)
 
Or ... if the Domino machine had a switch so you could lock out the oscillating motion and drill straight forward.  The Domino already has a precision plunge mechanism and uses the same motor as the MFK 700.
