What router bit should I get for MFK 700 to cut 6mm deep dado in 19mm plywood for the 1/4" plywood back panel?  One retailer suggested

Whiteside 2075
Whiteside 2100
Whiteside ru 1800
CMT 811.065.11, Solid Carbide Straight Bit, 1/4-Inch Shank, 1/4-Inch Diameter
CMT 191.007.11 Solid Carbide Upcut Spiral Bit, 1/4-Inch Diameter by 2-Inch Length, 1/4-Inch Shank

My first time using the MFK 700 so would appreciate your insights and experience.
Thank you
Bette

The 2100 is a beading bit, so I have no idea why anyone would have recommended that.

You have very limited depth adjustment on the 700 so you generally want the shortest cutting length you can find. Other than that, there really aren't any special considerations you need to keep in mind with that particular router.

Do be aware that 1/4" plywood is not actually 1/4" thick, though. If you want an absolutely perfect fit, two passes with a smaller bit may be necessary depending on the material you've got and how much moisture it's got in it.

Thank you.  I believe the Lee Valley Stubby straight bit may work.  The smallest Rockler bit has 3/4" cutting length which is longer than the 5/8"maximum dictated by the Festool catalog so am a bit wary.  Have you used this bit with the MFK 700 for dadoes?

The published length limitation is for when you use the 1 degree horizontal base for trimming edge banding. The motor has more than enough power to spin a 3/4" long bit.

To expand on this, the limit does not apply to the vertical base, only the horizontal bases.  (Just to clarify).
