I just received my MFK, but haven't made any chips, yet, but playing with it, it seems to me that this is the PERFECT router for use with dovetail jigs. It has a large base, is exremely light weight, and has a low CG, + decent dust collection.
I read that someone had an issue with the Akeda jig, based on the threads on the collar, and the size of the dovetail bit, but I would use it with the PC, Festool, or Leigh. I was also able to fit my PC style guide bushings into the base, further encouraging use with templates and jigs.
Has anyone been able to test this, and if so, what did/do you think?
